Introductions and the Start of the Blog
Who am I?
Hello! I go by Grey and this is my first blog as well as the first step into having an online presence in a long time. If I had to explain myself in one sentence: I am a IT guy who is studying cyber security & I enjoy story driven games during my free time (find out what I'm playing now)
Ironically despite working in and studying technology I prefer times before social media and algorithms ran our lives. As such for the better part of my teen years and 20s have been off of social media and more recently have started applying a more intentional approach to my hobbies.
What will I be posting?
I want this blog to be a place for my thoughts on my interests so I won't be restricting myself to certain topics but you can expect some of the following:
- Technology (gadgets, tools, privacy and security)
- Gaming
- Mindfulness and intentionality in our always connected age
- Productivity tools
I'll keep it non exhaustive because I can imagine a bunch of topics I might talk about in the future but hopefully that gives you an idea of what's in store.
Why start a blog?
Given my previous withdrawal from having an online presence you may wonder why I've decided to make a blog. My main reason for making a blog is because I have a lot to say and I love to share my findings, interests and opinions with others.
I also hope that my posts will catch the interests of likeminded people who would like to spark up a conversation about one of my posts or around the topics I discuss in general.
